Project Description

Traveling to the Dominican Republic is easy and affordable for Americans. It’s known for it’s warm and hospitable culture, as well as the untamed natural beauty of it’s lush tropical forests and nearly 1,000 miles of coastline (250 miles of sandy, accessible beaches).

According to the official tourism site for the Dominican Republic, the country is the second largest and most diverse in the Caribbean. The island is shared by it’s neighbor, Haiti, and is situated just two hours south of Miami via plane. It’s also less than a four hour flight from New York and about eight hours from the larger European hub cities.
