Pink sand really does exist, and it’s even better in person. Coral Sands Hotel has been getting it right for decades. This is one of the original hotels on Harbour Island, family-owned and built directly into the dune, so nearly every room faces the water. When we plan stays here, we like to lean into what makes this island different. A private boat out to the sandbars near Spanish Wells. Snorkeling off nearby reefs with almost no one else around. Lunch stops at tiny harborside spots. Dinner in town after a golf cart ride down Bay Street.
