CULINARY TRAVEL

The best way to know a place is to eat your way through it.

Some of the most lasting travel memories happen at a table: fresh pasta in a village trattoria, a bowl of pho on a plastic stool at seven in the morning, a winemaker pouring from a barrel that was never meant to be sold.

Food is how a place tells you who it is.

Every culinary trip we design is built around how you like to eat, not a checklist of famous restaurants. The market walk at dawn, the cooking class in a family kitchen, the tasting menu worth crossing an ocean for, and the sandwich counter worth crossing town for. If it earns its place, it goes on your itinerary.

WHERE WE SEND FOOD LOVERS

Wherever the table is set.

Every region feeds you differently. These are the places where a trip built around food pays off most.

ITALY

Fresh pasta in Emilia-Romagna, truffles in Piedmont, and long lunches that turn into dinner.

FRANCE

Lyon’s bouchons, Provence’s markets, and the cellars of Burgundy and Bordeaux.

SPAIN

Pintxos in San Sebastián, Basque grill houses, and paella where it was born in Valencia.

PORTUGAL

Lisbon’s tascas, Porto’s port lodges, and the terraced vineyards of the Douro.

JAPAN

Tokyo’s counters, Kyoto’s kaiseki, and markets that redefine the word fresh.

VIETNAM

Street food at dawn, Hoi An’s kitchens, and flavors that change with every province.

MEXICO

Oaxaca’s moles and mezcal, and Mexico City’s taquerías and tasting menus.

PERU

Lima’s celebrated dining scene and the Andean ingredients behind it.

SOUTH AFRICA

The Cape Winelands, farm-to-table estates, and a wine safari before the real one.

Don’t see your destination? We design culinary trips everywhere. Tell us what you love to eat and we’ll find where it’s done best.

HOW WE DESIGN IT

A great food trip is not a list of reservations. It is pacing, access, and knowing when to leave room for the meal you didn’t plan.

We look for cooking classes held in real family kitchens, not tour-bus classrooms, and guides who know the vendors by name.

We book the tables that are hard to get, and we point you to the neighborhood places that never take reservations at all. A ten-dollar lunch can be the best meal of the trip, and we’ll tell you when it is.

We also handle the details that make it work: producer and winery visits arranged ahead, dietary needs communicated before you arrive, and a day off from eating when you need one.

✦   Market walks and cooking classes with local cooks
✦   Private winery, distillery and producer visits
✦   Reservations at the tables worth planning a trip around

THE CULINARY COLLECTION

Food and wine journeys from the partners we trust.

Not every culinary trip has to start from a blank page. Our culinary collection gathers food-focused cruises, hotels and journeys from our travel partners: chef-led shore excursions, wine-country voyages, resorts with a serious kitchen, and more.

Browse at your own pace. When something catches your eye, send it our way and we’ll design the rest of the trip around it.

Consider it the menu. We’ll handle the reservation.
